Recording and publishing some of my songs is probably the riskiest thing I have done so far. In The Making is a 5 track EP and is available on all major digital platforms.
One of the tools I found helpful crawling my way out of a major depressive episode at age 17 was writing songs. Being creative. It gives a concrete form to a suffering which is quite abstract and difficult to explain. It brings a sound to a silent feeling. It helps one get a grip on a an ever elusive foe and then to celebrate the victory after it comes. These five songs were born out of this process and very raw when I started dreaming about sharing them with you. I wanted to convey these uncomfortable realities in a more palatable way with a more commercial sound. With the help of vocal trainer Miki Vox and producer Bobby Johnson I recon we managed to achieve this with the final product. Enjoy.
